This deck brings to you a tribal of one of Magic's oldest and muchloved creature types: Cats! As a cat lover, the builder felt it was a must to showcase! Cats with a side of +1/+1 counters are where Sovereign Okinec Ahau shines best, and who doesn't love aboard full of kitties? This is truly the deck where you can point atyour creatures and go "he's/she's/they're just a little guy!" whenother players at your table try to target them and, believe me, thiswill definitely work for a bit, at least until you're swinging with an11/11 cat token at each of your opponents. It's a true Selesnyaspecial with Mr. Cat Planeswalker himself, Ajani, included, of course, and all creatures - yes, all of them - have cat as one of theircreature types. Many of your enchantments have ways to add (andmultiply!) your +1/+1 counters on your kitties, and the ramp andtribal-focused artifacts help ensure you can set up a board state withnot too much of an issue. No commander deck is complete without a mixof pump, spot removal, and protection spells among your instants, and, don't worry, you've got board wipes as well in case anyone tries tomow down your cats before you get a chance to show just how great theyare! Don't be afraid to bare your teeth and get aggressive - this deckwants you to swing big and hard before the others in your pod have achance to fully get settled.

About the Builder:
I started playing Magic in March 2024 and was deckbuilding forCommander pretty soon after. My deck-building style is acommander-focused build, where I typically pick the commander firstand build around the themes that commander evokes, be ittribal/kindred or mechanic-forward. I want my decks to use theircommanders to their full potential and especially enjoy building decksaround commanders that aren't necessarily as popular as other; youprobably won't catch any Atraxas or Lathrils in my decklists - notthat they're bad necessarily, I just prefer to focus on legendariesthat don't get as much love! In general, my decks tend to be a bitheavier in enchantments than artifacts, a result from the first deck Ibuilt (Alela, Artful Provocateur) where a love of enchantments (andtheir wide range of effects!) was fostered. A blue player at heart,I'll always be sure to include plenty of instant-speed interaction toget you out of the tightest spots, no matter the color identity ofyour commander.
